Agent Agreement / Disclosures
Read this plain-English summary before you apply. It is provided to help applicants understand the Closr™ model; it is not a replacement for the applicable executed agreement, current fee schedule, carrier materials, or applicable law.
What controls
The current written Closr™ agreement and fee schedule, carrier requirements, product rules, licensing and certification requirements, and applicable state and federal law control participation. If this website differs from those materials, those materials govern. Program terms and market availability may change.
Who may participate
Closr™ is for insurance agents who are approved for participation and who meet the requirements that apply to the market and product. Agents must maintain the appropriate insurance licenses, product-specific certifications, required carrier appointments, and ongoing program eligibility. Current market availability is Nebraska and Florida; availability may vary by product, carrier, and time.
Markets and products
The public program currently references Nebraska and Florida. Product opportunities may include Medicare Advantage, ACA / Marketplace, health, life, or other insurance products only when available and when the agent meets the applicable licensing, certification, appointment, carrier, product, and program requirements. No market, product, or opportunity is guaranteed.
Agent responsibilities
Participating agents are responsible for doing the work associated with each opportunity and enrollment, including:
- Contacting and following up with consumers promptly and professionally.
- Following applicable state and federal insurance, privacy, marketing, contact, consent, and do-not-call requirements.
- Using required product and consumer disclosures, collecting required permissions, and accurately representing coverage.
- Completing accurate applications or enrollment documentation and maintaining records required by the carrier, program, or law.
- Maintaining licenses, certifications, appointments, and other eligibility requirements for the products sold.
- Providing appropriate ongoing client service and paying applicable agent-billed fees when due.
Fees and billing
The current Closr™ Performance & Growth Fee Schedule is effective as of the Agreement’s Effective Date:
- Elite Closr™ — 45%+ closing rate: $125 per qualifying Book Add; Exceptional; Quarterly Credit: $300 if earned.
- Pro Closr™ — 38%–44.99% closing rate: $140 per qualifying Book Add; Strong; Quarterly Credit: —.
- Associate Closr™ — 33%–37.99% closing rate: $155 per qualifying Book Add; Meets standard; Quarterly Credit: —.
- Qualifier — Below 33% closing rate: $170 per qualifying Book Add; New/developing/probationary; Quarterly Credit: —.
The stronger the Agent’s conversion rate, the lower the Closr™ fee per qualifying Book Add. In plain English, a Book Add is a consumer opportunity that turns into business that qualifies under the Agreement—not simply a name, phone number, or opportunity received. Fees are assessed per qualifying Book Add under the Agreement and billed through a simple quarterly statement after the minimum 90-day effective-date stabilization rule.
The $300 amount is a performance-based quarterly credit available only if earned by an Elite Closr™ agent. It is not a fee and is separate from the $125 Elite fee per qualifying Book Add. These are agent fees under the Agreement—not consumer charges or upfront lead fees. Future fee changes require notice under Section 23.
Carrier commissions are separate
Carrier compensation is separate from the Closr™ fee. Carrier compensation changes by year, state, carrier, plan, enrollment type, and regulatory guidance and is never guaranteed by Closr™.
Disenrollment, chargebacks, and renewals
If coverage terminates, never effectuates, is rescinded, or there is a qualifying rapid disenrollment before the Book Add becomes billable, the event must be disclosed on the quarterly certification. The Book Add may be excluded or handled under the applicable program rule and supporting information. If a Book Add has not been effective for at least 90 days by the applicable quarterly statement date, it rolls forward automatically and is not billed yet; no duplicate fee or penalty applies because of the roll-forward.
Carrier compensation is separate from the Closr™ fee. Carrier compensation changes by year, state, carrier, plan, enrollment type, and regulatory guidance and is never guaranteed by Closr™.
Relationship and ownership language
The public website does not grant or promise ownership of leads, consumer data, enrollments, commissions, renewal rights, client relationships, or a book of business. An agent may continue a professional client relationship only when permitted by the applicable agreement, carrier requirements, licensing rules, and product-specific rules. Any rights are limited to those expressly provided in the controlling written materials.
Approval, eligibility, and ending participation
Applying does not create a right to participate. Approval and continued participation depend on the applicable agreement and ongoing licensing, certification, appointment, compliance, product, market, and program eligibility requirements. Participation may end as provided in the controlling written materials. Ending participation does not automatically erase fees, chargebacks, documentation duties, or other obligations that already apply.
No guaranteed outcome
Closr™ does not guarantee leads or consumer contact, enrollments, sales, commissions, income, renewals, ownership, client retention, or any particular result. All examples on this website are illustrative only—not forecasts, promises, expected results, or guaranteed returns.
